Platinum Reef Kalkwasser 1000ml

Platinum premium laboratory grade Kalkwasser is widely used to maintain calcium, alkalinity and pH levels in your marine aquarium.

Platinum Kalkwasser is an essential reef supplement which supports healthy growth of corals, clams, and calcareous algae.

Directions For Use:

Always test calcium. pH and alkalinity levels prior to use, using a reliable test kit. Calcium concentrations should be between 380 - 450 ppm. Alkalinity should be between 7 - 9 dKH.

Add 8 grams of Platinum Kalkwasser to 5 litres of distilled or RO/DI water and mix to dissolve.

After mixing Platinum Kalkwasser leave the mixture to settle until the solution appears clear (this usually takes 1-2 hours). At the bottom of the solution there will be a milky looking sediment which should not be added to the aquarium. Dispose of this when the clear solution has been used or transferred to a different container. Drip the clear Kalkwasser solution into your aquarium.

Kalkwasser is widely used in auto top up systems with great results. Monitor the pH and alkalinity levels, and adjust the dosage rate to maintain a steady pH in the 8.2 - 8,5 pH range.

Never add Kalkwasser powder directly into your aquarium.
